Israel Trip - 30th Oct to 4th Nov 2009

My first overseas assignment, Israel. I stayed in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv (last picture along the coast) over 6 days.

The first day was more of logistics and planning of the presentation slides. We had our board meeting at Jerusalem on the 2nd day. We took a tour of the old city after the meeting. The tour was interesting and informative with the guide sharing with us the history behind the city and cited quotes from the Bible with respect to the places we were at.

On the 3rd day, we travelled to Tel Aviv. We visited my Israeli colleague, Shirley's office and proceeded to visit some companies. We had dinner at Shirley's place and met her family. The last few days' activities were the writing of the minutes and meeting more companies.

Unfortunately, I did not visit many places during my trip, though I visited the most historical one. I look forward to my next trip in around August 2010. Hopefully I can get a day off to visit more places then. =)

F1 @ Raffles City Towers - 27 September 2009

In the morning, Brian, ChiewLin, QiJun and myself went to participate in a island hopping activity where we visited Kusu Island and St John's Island.

After which, we went to Raffles City Towers to wash up in the afternoon and proceed to the lounge on the #21. We waited for the others to arrive and waited for the F1 race to begin. The #21 was filled with people just before the race started. We had dinner as we watched the race from the big screen as well as the actual track.

We celebrated Ken's birthday as well. After the race ended, we had foosball and Wii. We played till the lounge closed that night. =)
