It was intended to be a birthday surprise for my dearest, but I messed it up. (Yes dear.. better luck next time. =p)

I had an amazing time with dear and her family in L.A. Thanks to Uncle, Auntie and Cheryl for inviting and making all the arrangements. =)

UK Trip 13 - 21 November 2010

3 days in England - Toured around London and went on a road trip with my best buddy, Bing Feng, and super nice Xiaojun. We visited the Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, Cornwall and Bath.

3 days in Ireland - Joined bus tours to Cliff of Moher and Glendalough, and made some new friends too!


3 days in Scotland - Went on a road trip with Wanteng, Eileen and Cairong. We visited Edinburgh, Glencoe, Loch Ness, Ben Nevis, and Stirling and Eilean Donan castles.

Israel Trip 8 - 12 November 2010

My second trip to Israel.

The meetings were good and I even found time to visit Old Jaffa on my last day (after completing the minutes for the meetings). See the first photo of the view of Tel Aviv from Old Jaffa.

Nothing much to write about this trip, but would be writing more on my UK trip which was right after departing from Isreal.

Gunung Datuk Climb 21 & 22 Oct 2010

2 day 1 night climb up Gunung Datuk Climb in Malaysia with a group of 20+, later known as 'Datukers'. We started by taking the KLM train and a bus to reach the bottom of Datuk.

The climb was tough but we eventually made it up though that was way after sunset. We built our tents and started cooking dinner consisting of pasta, nuggets, roti prata etc. I think it's more a chit chatting session and having fun cooking rather than filling our tummies. I was pretty hungry even after 'dinner'.

We were led up to the top of Datuk to catch a glimpse of the city below. It was really cold at the top, but the view was not bad (not spectacular though). After climb back down, we shared riddles and stories before dozing off.

The nex morning, after catching another glimpse of the city back at the top, we made our way down. Equally tough, some of the guys including myself was carrying the 6-men tent... Had a quick shower and headed back to Singapore.

I made several friends who will be joining the next climb in Jan 2010. =)

Birthday Blasts 9 Sept 2010

My best birthday with full of surprises. A very very BIG THANK YOU to all I mentioned below.

1st was a surprise lunch treat by my lunch kakis, Joanna and Jamie!
2nd, a surprise celebration by Corporate Audit (even though I am not from their division).
3rd, Yileng arranged to have dinner with me as she was afraid I was alone on my birthday (which I was) and she brought a special guest, my best ex-EDB buddy, Bing Feng. I was loss for words for minutes as he was supposed to be in USA...
4th, my buddy, KK, somehow remembered by birthday and met me for dinner. Weimin caught up with us and they played a duet birthday song for me.
5th, my gang of secondary school best friends (except Guowei who stayed too far away) met me for supper. Thanks to Jianliang for arranging. Though it was last minute, all the guys turned up.
6th, WeeKiat and I met the birthday couple, Boon and KunRui, for a few games of monopoly. WeeKiat treated us drinks. =p

KK Birthday @ Downtown East 21 - 22 August 2010

It's my buddy, KiaKhian's birthday. =)

Celebration was at Downtown East. We played Wii throughout the night, followed by a day at Escape themepark. We had an awesome time getting 'high' with go-kart, nauseous from the viking, wet from the water gun game and frightened in the haunted house!
